Business Luck and Feng Shui

I had a busy day today. After going through most of the things on my To Do List, I decided to stop for a quick bite. As I sat down to enjoy the yummy (hot) Laksa, I couldn’t help noticing the flow of traffic (people) in the shops. It is quite interesting to see how certain shops seem to be busy all the time, while others seem to have long spells of inactivity and they seem to get clients intermittently.

There can be a lot of reasons behind this. If we think about it, it could be just that some cuisines tend to be more popular than others. The quality and presentation of food definitely helps. The weather can play a role in the choice of food we make, like it did for me. It was raining and I felt like having something nice and hot, thus, the Laksa. The easy access and availability of food can be another reason. The list can go on.

Now, if I had to look at these businesses from a Feng Shui point of view, then I would have to take into account a lot of other things too. The landscape of the shop, the orientation of the shop, the shape of the shop etc, are some of the things that a Feng Shui Practitioner keeps in mind. If you are new to Feng Shui and you have no clue about the landscape Feng Shui and you end up buying a shop which doesn’t have the right orientation etc, then what do you do? Do not despair if you are in the same situation, Feng Shui can fix a lot of problems and help improve the business many folds. All you need to do, is take action.

I would like to share another example of how Feng Shui has helped a business. A few weeks ago, I went out for lunch with some friends. We decided to try out a new restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, but we were not impressed by the quality of the food. Despite that, they seemed to be doing a roaring business. It was quite intriguing to all of us. As we got up to leave, we noticed a lot of Feng Shui cures used in the shop. As we stepped out, I looked above the front door, and sure enough, they had a Bagua mirror there. The restaurants’ front door was facing a straight road, which is considered bad Feng Shui, and to counter it, they had used a Bagua mirror. It was very obvious that they had used the services of a Feng Shui Practitioner for the restaurant. And I can tell you, it was definitely working for them.

Feng Shui can be applied very successfully to improve any kind of luck, at home, office and business. If you or someone you know, is finding it hard to improve their business turnover, then they should definitely think about getting a Feng Shui Consultation done.

If you would like to book an appointment to see how Feng Shui can change your luck, then send me an email on shellysingh168@gmail.com or give me a call on 0448 468 968. Bookings are essential.

I look forward to helping you reach new heights.

Cheers.

Empowering Women using Feng Shuiย

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy International Women’s Day. Let’s make this day, and every other day of the year, an empowering and fulfilling day, for every woman, all over the world.

Today I would like to talk to you about the role Feng Shui can play in empowering the women of the world.

If we look at the Ba Gua, we know that Southwest is the direction of the ‘Matriarch’ or ‘Mother’ of the family. In order to improve your life, as the mother or head  of the family, you need to concentrate on the Southwest of your house. Make sure to take extra care of this corner of your house. The wellbeing and happiness of the mother is directly connected to the state the Southwest corner of your home is in. If you have a bathroom/toilet in the Southwest of your house, then you will find that the mother of the house will always be stressed, and the relationships within the family and with others, will suffer. If possible, avoid using that bathroom. This is not always possible, in which case, you can try and symbolically get rid of the bathroom, by either placing a curtain over the bathroom door, or by sticking a mirror on the door. The main aim here is to transform the energy that is coming from, or going towards, the bathroom door. By using a curtain or a mirror, we create the illusion of the bathroom not being there, and thus, the energy does not get afflicted. It might sound too simple and a bit odd, but it works. If you are in a situation where you have a bathroom in the Southwest of your house, then this is worth looking into and applying. You will notice a significant improvement in the quality of your life once you apply this cure.

If you are lucky enough and do not have a bathroom/toilet in the Southwest of your house, then make sure to keep this area clean and well lit. This will ensure that the mother of the house stays happy and healthy, which in turn means, the whole family will be happy. It also ensures that all your relationships improve over time.

Here’s to happy and empowered ‘Women’ all over the world ๐ŸŒŽ.

Cheers.

Are you new to Feng Shui?

Most people have heard of Feng Shui but do they really know how Feng Shui works? When we use the word Feng Shui, one usually thinks of one’s immediate environment. Feng Shui is all about energy, and this energy flow around the house creates good or bad Feng Shui. If you feel welcomed and relaxed as soon as you walk into a house then obviously the energy is good. If you feel uncomfortable when you walk into a space, then that space has negative energy. There could be a lot of reasons for the build up of negative energy. The good news is that you can change the energy of a space by using the principles of Feng Shui.

As we go deeper into the practice of Feng Shui, we realise that there is so much more to Feng Shui than meets the eye. Feng Shui uses five different elements, namely, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, to create a harmonious life. When we use these elements in the right way, we create the right balance of energy in our life. We usually think of our environment as soon as the word Feng Shui is used. But if Feng Shui was just about the environment then it would be working in a vacuum. Feng Shui is always applied with keeping us, the human beings, in mind. So when we apply Feng Shui, we are applying it ‘in our environment’ but we are also applying it ‘for a person’. This interaction of the two layers, environmental and personal, is what brings about amazing results in our lives. When there is balance of energy, there is progress and things move in a positive direction bringing positive outcomes, with minimum fuss.

For someone who isn’t familiar with Feng Shui, this can sound very complicated but once you start understanding the basic principles behind Feng Shui, then it starts making sense.

If you are going through a tough time in your life and would like to learn more about how Feng Shui can change your life and bring happiness, success, good health and abundance, then send me a message and I will take you on a Feng Shui journey you will never forget and you will keep coming back for more.

Cheers

Bonsai in Feng Shui

Bonsai is a Japanese art form which grows artistic miniature trees in a container. The techniques used and the aesthetics involved in creating a Bonsai tree have become increasingly sophisticated over the years.

Let’s have a look at Bonsai from a Feng Shui perspective. Bonsai plants are not looked upon too favourably by Feng Shui, which is a bit paradoxical, as Bonsai first originated in China. A Bonsai is created through a seed or cutting, and is cultivated to stay small. The plant’s growth is artificially restricted by placing it in a small container/pot, by pruning and root reduction, which limits it’s growth.

Thus, when we place a Bonsai plant in our home, we bring the energy of restriction and limited growth into our life. At a symbolic level, having the bonsai creates stunted growth for the residents of the house. If you want to get rich and keep improving your wealth luck, then make sure you do not display artificially stunted plants in your house. You can use other fast growing plants around your house, as it will ensure that there is ample growth energy in your immediate space.

Happy gardening.

Cheers.

Bedroom Feng Shuiย

When we look at the Feng Shui of a house, we take a lot of things into consideration. We look at the landscape of the house, the position of rooms in the house etc. The master bedroom of the house is one of the main rooms that can have a major impact on the wellbeing of the residents. It can greatly affect the harmony and marriage luck of the couple living in the room.

Some of the key Feng Shui rules for a bedroom are as follows:

The ideal shape of a bedroom is either square or rectangle. Sometimes, a square or a rectangle shaped bedroom becomes an L-shaped room because of the ensuite (attached bathroom). If you find yourself in this situation, then you need to fix the problem. You can regularise the shape by placing a screen or by putting a curtain, or by clever placement of furniture, thereby creating a regular shaped bedroom.

The placement of the bedroom in the house, can have a great impact on your success luck as well. Make sure you do not sleep in a room which has a garage under it. If your bedroom is located above the garage then success luck will be elusive and your plans fizzle out without completion.

Likewise, if your bedroom is located above a kitchen, you will suffer from severe bad luck. Ideally, you should change your bedroom. If you cannot move your room, then try to re-position the bed, so that you are not sleeping directly above the stove.

And as always, I would like to remind everyone of the need to keep the bedroom (and home) free from clutter. When you get rid of clutter in your home, you get rid of a lot of problems you might have been facing in life. If you want to apply one Feng Shui tip, then I would suggest starting with this one, and trust me, you will never look back.

One important thing to remember is that when we apply Feng Shui, we try and fix the problem by applying the relevant cure. As you know, Feng Shui works in many layers and sometimes it can be really hard to get everything right. So, when you apply Feng Shui, keep an open mind and work with what you can change and don’t worry too much about things you cannot change. Start with the simple cures and soon you will be able to see the improvement in your life.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send them to me at this email: shellysingh168@gmail.com.

Until next time.

Cheers.

Plants as Wealth energisers

We all know that when we sow a plant, it grows. Plants bring a sense of happiness to their surroundings and cleanse the air too. According to Feng Shui, plants represent growth energy. So when you place a plant in the right corner of your home or office, it creates growth energy for your business.

If you remember, I talked about the different directions and how they have a certain life aspiration attached to it, in an earlier post. Here is a quick reminder for those who might have missed that post.

  • East stands for Health luck,
  • Southeast for Wealth luck,
  • South for Fame and recognition luck,
  • Southwest for Relationship and love luck, plus it is the Mother’s corner, thus, a very important corner of the house,
  • West is for Children’s luck,
  • Northwest is the corner of the Father, thus, another  very important corner,
  • North stands for Career luck and
  • Northeast is the corner for Education luck.

Now, depending on the kind of luck you are looking at improving, you can activate each corner and get that kind of luck.

So, if you are looking at improving your wealth luck, then place a healthy plant in the Southeast corner of your room. Do make sure that the plant is healthy and has rounded, broad leaves. Do not place plants with sharp leaves or thorns in this corner, as it will send out negative energy to the residents of the house, and will negatively affect the finances as well. Take good care of your plants. Healthy plants suggest healthy residents and when placed in the Southeast, suggests healthy finances. Some examples of plants that can be placed in the Southeast are, Jade plant, Money plant, and different kinds of succulents.
