Getting wealthy with water

Water is a symbol of wealth in Feng Shui. Water can be used very effectively to improve the financial status of a person. When using water as a wealth enhancer make sure you keep balance and its placement in mind.

So how can you have balance when using water?

Water can be divided into two categories, one can be called big water and the other small water.

Big water, as the name suggests is a bigger collection of water like a pond, lake or swimming pool. Small water can be a table top water feature or a smaller pond. When you use any of the two, you just need to make sure that it is in balance with the house. So having too big a swimming pool next to a small house will not be considered balanced. I have mentioned this before that even though water is a great wealth energiser, when there is too much of it, it can drown you. If you are not too sure about the size of the pool vis a vis the house, then going smaller is the answer or you can get in touch with a Feng Shui Consultant and get their advice. You can use small water effectively as well. I have personally used small water features very successfully and have seen them work for my clients as well.

If you live near a lake or river then try to face your house in such a manner that it faces the body of water. If that is not possible then you can try and have a window or a side door there which will let you capture the view of the water from inside the house.

Another important thing to remember is that when you place water near the front door, the water should be on the left hand side of the door. If placed on the right hand side of the door, it can create a situation where a third party might enter in your relationship. I have seen houses with water placed on the right hand side of the door and sure enough there have been problems in the marriage. I have also seen people quite adamant about moving the pond or jacuzzi. I let them know how it can affect their relationship and leave it at that.

Now let’s see how you can work out which is the left hand side of the door? Is it the left hand side of the door when you are looking at the house from outside? Or is it the left hand side of the door when you are standing inside and looking out?

The left hand side we use in Feng Shui is when you are standing inside and looking out, as if you are about to step out of the house.

When you place water it should look like it is coming towards the house and not going away from it.

The directions where you can place water are East, Southeast and North. There are other areas where you can have water too but it is not in the scope of this post. To tap into other directions we go deeper into the different Feng Shui formulas and then work it out.

Water can be used very effectively to improve finances. Do make sure to follow the tips so that water not only brings in loads of wealth for you, but also helps you enjoy your life with your loved ones.

Until next time.

Pillars in Feng Shui

In Feng Shui we avoid facing anything that is sharp and pointed, and aimed straight at us, as it emits shar chi or negative energy.

I attended a Workshop the other day and the room where it was being held had four square pillars and the chairs were placed in the area between the pillars.

When I walked into the room I instantly started analysing which spot would be a good one to sit in so that the corner of the pillar didn’t hit me directly (figuratively speaking 😊).

When you sit or sleep in front of a pillar with the corner aimed at you, it sends out negative energy. If you have this situation at home or work and you continue sitting in the same spot all the time, then over time you will start feeling the effects of the negative energy that is coming towards you everyday. This can cause health issues and creates general bad luck too.

So what can you do when you have this situation?

Here are some tips to fix the problem.

  • The best thing to do is to try and move your chair so that you are not sitting right in front of the pointed edge/corner of the pillar.
  • You can cover the edge of the pillar by placing a plant there.
  • If you use a real plant it will feel the effects of the corner too so it might be better to use an artificial potted plant instead.
  • You can hang a crystal at the top end of the pillar, near the ceiling, and that will negate the effect of the corner.
  • You can hang something in front of the pillar, like a bird hanging or something else that takes your fancy and cover the edge.
  • Mirrors can also be used to cover up the pillar.

Have a look around your work space and home. If you have a similar situation then do take action straight away. These tips can also be used for situations where there is a beam above your chair or bed.

If you have any health problems or your life is just not going the way you want it to, then get in touch with me for a consultation and watch your life blossom.

I offer Onsite and Online/Phone/Skype consultations as well.

The gentle art of Swedish death cleaning…

I was in the bookstore with the children the other day when I came across this book by Margareta Magnusson.

The title caught my eye and I felt intrigued, and picked up the book along with a few other titles, and sat down in a corner to have a quick look at them.

Both the children and their cousin were busy browsing through the bookstore, so I had some time to read the overview and decide on which books I was going to buy.

And I picked these two: The gentle art of Swedish death cleaning and The little book of Ikigai.

The title of the first book sounds quite morbid at first glance, but I think it is a title which grabs your attention, which is half the battle won by the author. Once I picked the book and started glancing through the pages, I was quite impressed by the way Margareta had addressed the boring subject of cleaning.

Dostadning is a Swedish word. ‘Do’ means ‘Death’ and ‘stadning’ means cleaning. It is a concept wherein a person removes all the unnecessary stuff from their home, making it nice and orderly when they think that the time is coming closer for them to leave the planet. Even though the name suggests cleaning before dying, Margareta goes on to say that this book can be used by anyone who is looking at getting rid of clutter and wants to create an easier and less crowded life for themselves.

As a Feng Shui Consultant I understand the importance of de cluttering and keeping the flow of energy around the house fresh and clean, and I am always looking at learning new tips and incorporating them in my life. If you have been following my posts then you understand the importance of de cluttering as well. Even otherwise, every human being should live in a clean and clutter free environment to enjoy optimal health.

I will be sharing the tips and tricks used in this book with all of you too. I hope these ideas will help you in your day to day life and make your life more organised.

Do you have any effective de cluttering tips? I would love to hear from you if you do. Please feel free to share them with us and help us keep our homes clean and clutter free.

Until next time.

Cheers.

Different directions and family members

If you remember I have talked about taking extra care of Southwest and Northwest directions, as they represent the Mother or Matriarchal energy and the Father or Patriarchal energy.

A lot of cultures believe in taking care of the Mother and Father to ensure that the family stays together and leads a happy life.

Did you know that each member of the family has a particular direction connected to them as well.

  • East is the direction of the eldest son.
  • Southeast is the direction of the eldest daughter.
  • South is the direction of the middle daughter.
  • West is the direction of the youngest daughter.
  • North is the direction of the middle son, and
  • Northeast is the direction of the youngest son.

The next question is, “How do you use this knowledge in your day to day life?

The answer is quite simple.

Depending on the number of children you have, you can work out which direction represents them and activate these directions.

So if you have two daughters and one son, you will activate the Southeast corner for the eldest daughter, and South for the middle daughter. As for the son, you can activate the East corner.

Once you have taken care of the corners/directions related to each child of the family, you will improve the quality of their life.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have clutter or a bathroom/toilet in any of the said directions, then that will affect the luck of that child.

If you have a bathroom in the South for example, then you can apply the tips discussed in one of the earlier post regarding bathroom and toilets. You can place a mirror on the bathroom/toilet door or you can cover it up with a curtain. By doing so you symbolically make the negative energy of the bathroom disappear.

Taking care of the directions of each member of the family can really improve their overall luck and health as well.

If you have any questions regarding this tip then you can comment here, or on my Facebook page: Blooming Mushroom International Feng Shui or send me an email on: shellysingh168@gmail.com.

And do remember to share these tips with your family and friends and help them improve their lives as well.

Until next time.

“Don’t let destiny rule your life, change it today by using Feng Shui”

I have had the good fortune to work with most of my friends over the years and share my knowledge of Feng Shui to help improve their lives. It is always lovely to hear from them and get an insight into their personal thoughts and experiences, after they have applied the Feng Shui remedies.

Today I am sharing another feedback/personal testimony, experienced by this beautiful lady and her family. I have found that women are usually more open to trying Feng Shui, and their husbands or partners tend to just go along with it, to keep the peace. So I really enjoy it when the ladies come back and say that their husbands can feel it too and that they have started paying more attention and doing what needs to be done around the house, to fix the problem.

Enjoy 😊

Having always been interested in Feng Shui I was thrilled when my friend Shelly finished her training and I was keen to employ her services in my home. It was easy to see the passion that Shelly has for Feng Shui. I really enjoyed the consultations with her and I have learnt so much from her expertise. The changes she suggested in the first consultation were not difficult to make and most of the items that I needed to place around my home, I already had. My husband who was quite sceptical in the beginning, commented that he really did notice the difference in the energy in our home, after making the changes. I felt that we were all so much calmer and life seemed to flow better.

I have continued to stay in contact with Shelly especially during some health issues over the past year and she has helped me to make the changes required to assist in my recovery, which I believe have also helped with my overall health. Shelly was also more than happy to help with Feng Shui solutions during my Dad’s recent cancer surgery and recovery. I really believe that the incorporation of Feng Shui helped with how smoothly his recovery went and how much his health has improved in the past few months. If you have the slightest interest in Feng Shui I encourage you to get in contact with Shelly. She is down to earth and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Feng Shui. I am so happy that she shared her expertise with me as I feel it has been a huge benefit to my entire family.

o you think that life has been tough on you and everything seems to be going wrong?

Do you feel like you try your best but don’t get the desired results?

If yes, then maybe it is time to look at how Feng Shui can help change all that.

If you are looking to increase your wealth and assets, your health, your relationships, your career, if you want to be recognised for all the work/effort you put in your office or business, then Feng Shui is the answer.

Feng Shui can bring amazing results which no other system or technique can offer.

‘Brain power’

Our brain is one of the most powerful creative tool we have. We use it all day without even thinking about it. We think all kinds of thoughts everyday, some happy and some sad. Our thoughts are very powerful and can help attract things we want and they can also attract things we do not want, into our life.

You might ask how it is possible to attract things we do not want? It is very simple. When you fear something and think about it all the time, you attract it to yourself. If you have a fear about a certain thing or about lack of good health or money for example, and you keep talking or thinking about the ‘lack’ all the time, you create that kind of energy and thus, create more lack in your life.

Fear can create a viscous cycle of negative thinking. It can be very difficult to focus on anything else when you are worrying about a certain issue, but the answer to this ‘feeling of lackor ‘fear’ is to shift the focus from ‘lack/fear‘ to being ‘grateful‘ for all that you have. By doing this simple exercise you are shifting the focus from lack. When you consciously start applying this principle in your life you will find your luck changing. You can apply this principle in all aspects of your life, be it your health, happiness, loving partner, loving relationships etc.

Make the shift today and watch your life blossom. If you think you need some help in bringing the shift in your thinking then get in touch with me and I will guide you through it. It is worth making the effort.

Good luck.

Symbolic Feng Shui

Feng Shui Tip: Importance of Symbolic Feng Shui in our daily life

I am sharing my earlier post with all of you to stress on the importance of symbolic Feng Shui. I know there are people who do not believe in Symbolic Feng Shui, but for those who have seen its effects first hand, it definitely works. Enjoy😊

Applying the principles of Feng Shui in your day to day life can be a lot of fun. I like to experiment with the enhancers and cures, to see what works for me, and then suggest the same to my clients. It is amazing how some of the cures work so quickly, while others take a little while, but they work too. Another suggestion that I always give to my clients is to keep their eyes and ears open when applying Feng Shui, so that they can see how things unfold. Most of the time they get the tips and remedies right, but there are times when they might miss a tiny detail and things might not go according to plan. Being aware of what you are placing in your home and for what reason, really helps, as then you can actually go back and fix the problem.

This is a true story of such an incident, where a friend of mine saved herself and her family from a lot of headache, by being aware, and by keeping her eyes and ears open.

I ran into a friend who had got her Feng Shui done around July of 2016. I hadn’t seen her for a while and it was nice to catch up. Those of you who know me personally, know that I am always keen to know how things are going. If things are going well, then I am quite happy to stay in the background, but if things are not going well, then I want them to inform me, so that I can help fix it. I do maintain my distance, so as not to intrude too much. So getting back to the story…. My friend was happy with how things were going. She did say that she wanted to tell me something!!! I was interested to see what came next…? She asked me what I thought of sunken ships. My instant reaction was ‘Not good Feng Shui’. She said that she thought so too, and said that she saw it’s negative effects first hand. I was all ears by now.

She said that last term her son made a model ship at school and brought it home. He was very happy with his handiwork. Mum was happy too, as she thought that she could use it as a Wealth ship and place it in the Wealth corner of her home, which she did. That month a lot of their electrical appliances started giving them trouble. The washing machine stopped working, the fridge started giving them problems… She was really perplexed as to why so many things were going wrong all of a sudden. She then thought of all the Feng Shui cures that she had placed and wondered what she had done wrong. She went back to my report to check if she had applied all the cures and enhancers correctly. Everything was in the right place. She then thought of the Wealth ship and asked her son what he had made? To this her son said, “It is a sunken ship, Mum”. He had made a ship that had holes in it and had sunk. As soon as her son said that, she realised what was causing all the recent bad luck. She decided to take the ship out of the house and waited to see if it changed things in any way, and sure enough, the spate of bad luck stopped. She said she was so relieved that the ship wasn’t there anymore and started laughing after telling me the story. I could see that if ever there was an iota of doubt in her mind, regarding the effectiveness of Feng Shui, it was totally gone. She had been converted to the Feng Shui way of thinking, forever.

Do you see how important ‘Symbolic Feng Shui’ can be? When we place any object in our house, it comes with it’s own energy and meaning. A sunken ship means things going wrong drastically, and when that ship was used as a wealth enhancer, instead of improving their wealth luck, it started draining their wealth. You need to be careful of what you display in your home. If you are using a ship as a Wealth enhancer, then always make sure that it is a sailing ship, not a ship with holes or a pirate ship, because it will come with its negative energy, which will then bring that kind of luck to you. Another thing to keep in mind is that the ship should be sailing inwards, symbolically bringing wealth to you. If you are using a Water Feature as a Wealth enhancer, the same principle will apply to it too. Make sure that the spout is facing towards the house, thus, bringing wealth to you.

As you can see, even though symbols might not seem as important, they can actually make a huge difference in your life. Look around your home and see what you have on display. Do the objects make you happy? Do they have any negative meanings/connotations? If they don’t make you happy give them away. If there is a negative connotation attached to any object give it away too. If the object is too precious to you and you cannot think of parting with it, then put it in a cupboard or a box, so that it does not affect you and your immediate space with it’s negative energy.

By using this simple technique of symbolic Feng Shui, you can improve your life immensely. On top of that, when you apply the other layers of Feng Shui, your life starts improving in leaps and bounds. All you need to do is start applying these principles and tips today, and sit back and reap the benefits of this age old science called Feng Shui, over and over again.

And remember, if you are stuck in a negative situation, don’t wait for it to get better. Get in touch with me and I will be more than happy to help improve the situation. Feel free to send me a message now if you have any questions or there is anything troubling you, be it health related, relationship or wealth related… etc.

If you have seen the marvellous effects of Feng Shui, I would love to hear from you too. Just send me your story and I will share it with all my readers. Your privacy is of utmost importance to me and no names will be used.

Until next time.

Take care.
