There are a lot of things to keep in mind when you start planning to buy or build a house. In this article I will cover the most important tips that everyone should try and follow, as the placement of certain rooms like the kitchen and bathroom, can really change the luck of the residents of a house.

• First of all make sure that you don't have a toilet on top of the front door. This situation brings all sorts of misfortunes.
• Make sure there is no kitchen or toilet in the Northwest of the house. Northwest is considered the heaven's gate and having a kitchen/toilet here creates lots of problems for the Patriarch of the family.
• Southwest of the house shouldn't have a bathroom either. This creates problems for the Matriarch of the family and the relationship of the family.

Ideally we recommend moving the bathroom or not using it. If the kitchen is in the Northwest, then we do recommend moving it to some other direction. If it is not possible to move the kitchen then do make sure that you move the stove (if it is in the Northwest corner of the kitchen), to another side. If nothing of the above is possible then you can use black bench top or place a bowl of water near the cook top, to reduce the negative effects.

These taboos can have serious consequences and it is best to fix them straight away.
