Success is sweet….

I would like to share something very close to my heart with all of you.

This is a true story of a friend who was in an abusive relationship. All of us knew that she needed to get out of this relationship and it was such a relief when she finally took the step, not just towards her freedom, but towards a safe life for the children and herself. Like most separations, it got messy and her ex stooped to lying and deceit. And then the long drawn battle of custody, alimony and other issues started.

I was in constant touch with her, more for moral support than anything else. But as you know, I can't help but help. Every time we talked I would give her some Feng Shui tip. Being far away from her meant that I was applying Feng Shui blind folded. I have never been to her house as she lives in a different country, but I knew which stars would be causing relationship problems and legal problems like a court case. I asked her to send me her house plans and started working on it. As usual, I had to use the right elements to control the negative stars as well enhance the good ones. I insisted that she applied the cures as soon as possible because I knew how important it was to fix the problem areas in the house in order to get a positive outcome. Every time we talked I would ask if she had a chance to apply the cures, but knew deep in my heart how hard it would be for her, with full time work, kids, house work, court case…. Just writing about it makes me feel overwhelmed, imagine how she must have felt at the end of each day?

A few months ago my friend decided to move closer to her family, so that she could have family support for her children and herself, which also meant moving away from where her ex husband was. Her ex was obviously not happy about it and filed a case for the children's custody. This complicated everything and my friend was in a state of panic. During our chats I was trying my best to support her. It can be really hard to think of the right words to say to someone whose whole life is hanging in a balance. I wasn't just trying to be positive for her, I had a lot of tips and prayers that I could offer her, to help improve her situation. I made a list of things for her to do which I knew would ensure that things went in her favour. I insisted that she applied it the same night or by the next morning, by latest. I called her the next morning and asked her if she had applied the cures and thankfully she had.  I was using all the arsenal I had in my possession, in the form of Space Feng Shui, Flying Star Feng Shui, Spiritual Feng Shui, power of positive thinking, Astrology, Mindfulness etc. I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have some really beautiful/supportive mentors and spiritual leaders in my life, who were guiding and supporting me through this time. I was looking for ways to help this beautiful soul and God (or the universe) was in turn helping me by providing the right guidance through my mentors. Once we had all the cures in place, it was time to wait for the verdict.

I got a call from her a few days ago. She started talking and asked me about my recent trip. I was telling her about it, too scared to ask her if the verdict had been handed out, when she said something about 'An order'. I didn't realise what she had said so she repeated it and said that the court order had come. I stopped in my track and said, "Yes….?" She sounded happy, which was a good sign…. and said that the court had accepted that the kids needed support and were better off near the grand parents and she could stay there, and gave her all the privileges that she needed to support the children. PHEW…. can you imagine the sense of relief I felt. I was doing a happy dance, with tears welling up in my eyes. We exchanged notes and had a few laughs. What a roller coaster life can be at times. I was glad that we had won the first round of this battle and am very positive that we will win the war too.

You know, I feel so grateful to have all these tools in my life which make it possible for me to help others in their hour of need. It is actually a very empowering feeling. With every new situation, I learn something new and can apply it even more effectively next time round. I must commend my friend for her strength and her perseverance in the face of adversity. She still manages to keep her chin up and a smile on her face, when deep inside she must be going through such an emotional turmoil. I wish her all the best for the rest of her case and life, and would like to ask all of you to say a little prayer for her beautiful children and for her too.

God bless.
